Who we are

NUUX Studios is a design and growth studio. This policy explains what we do with personal information when you visit nuuxstudios.com, get in touch, subscribe to something of ours, or work with us as a client.

Our registered address is NUUX Studios, 800 N King St, Suite 304 #3190, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States, and you can reach us at hello@nuuxstudios.com.

What we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, company, and whatever you choose to put in a message when you fill in a form, subscribe, or email us.

Information collected automatically. Which pages you open, how you arrived, your approximate location, the device and browser you used, and clicks on links and buttons. This comes from Google Analytics 4 and Webflow Analyze. Neither is used to identify you personally: Webflow Analyze uses an anonymous identifier, and Google derives approximate location from your IP address.

Information from working together. If you become a client we hold the contact details, project material and billing information needed to run the engagement.

How we use it

To reply to you, to run and improve the site, to send you things you asked to receive, to deliver client work, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. That is the whole list.

We do not sell or share your information

United States privacy laws define selling and sharing broadly enough to catch analytics and advertising setups that most people would not think of as a sale. So, to be explicit: we do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we have not done either in the past twelve months. We keep Google’s advertising features and Google Signals switched off in our analytics, which is what keeps that true.

Cookies, analytics and local storage

Google Analytics 4 sets cookies in your browser — _ga and _ga_ followed by a property ID — so it can tell one visit from another. Webflow Analyze does not use cookies; it keeps an anonymous identifier in your browser’s local storage instead. Webflow also sets cookies needed to serve the site and handle form submissions.

United States law does not require us to ask permission before setting analytics cookies, so you will not see an opt-in banner here. You can still block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser, and Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics everywhere.

Who we share it with

Service providers who process information on our behalf and only on our instructions: Google LLC for analytics, Webflow, Inc. for hosting, forms and site analytics, and our email delivery, payment and project management providers. Professional advisers where we need advice. Authorities where the law requires it. A buyer, if the business is ever sold, on the same terms as this policy. A current list of our providers is available on request.

Where your information is held

We are a United States company and our providers hold information on servers in the United States. We do not route it overseas as a matter of course. If you are visiting from outside the United States, your information is processed here and under United States law.

How long we keep it

Analytics. Google Analytics 4 is set to delete user-level and event-level records after 14 months, the longest its free tier allows. Its aggregated reports have every identifier stripped out and stay available beyond that. Webflow Analyze holds aggregated, non-identifying data only.

Enquiries. Twenty-four months after our last exchange, unless it becomes a project.

Client records. Seven years after the engagement ends, to meet tax and accounting requirements.

Marketing. Until you unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

Several United States states give residents rights over their personal information. Those laws apply above size thresholds a studio our size sits below, so they may not formally reach us. We honour the requests anyway.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask for it in a portable format, and tell us to stop sending marketing — which you can also do from the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

Email hello@nuuxstudios.com and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you any differently for asking.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and providers who meet recognised security standards. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you without undue delay if a breach affects your information.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when what we do changes, and the date at the top will change with it. If a change is significant we will say so rather than rely on you noticing.
